Because 90% of our work is in schools, we primarily utilise #4 plastics for our project due to its soft and easy to work with nature. It has a low melting temperature and can easily be processed using our portable machinery on-site in schools.
We sell our excess shreds (predominantly types #2 and #5) to support our educational programs and further our reach. 100% of profits are reinvested into the project.
