What started as a mission to understand the problem has evolved into a movement for change.

After spending 5000+ hours combing beaches and analysing data on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, we became experts on trash. We tracked pollution patterns, identified the major sources, and found some expected and unexpected culprits. But despite our efforts to “clean up” the beaches, aswell as rally local businesses, councils, and government; the problem persisted. That’s when we knew: it was time to focus on solutions.

In December 2022, we took a leap and made plastics education our full-time mission. We joined the Precious Plastic network, equipped ourselves with the right tools and machinery, and since then, we’ve inspired over 10,000 students through beach clean-ups and hands-on recycling workshops to see the problem of plastic-pollution first-hand and be a part of its solution. Together, we’re turning waste into opportunity and shaping a generation of problem-solvers.

We know that this is a problem that affects everyone, and through collaboration, community and effort, we can start to turn the tide not only on plastic waste, but the way we view what a waste product is vs a resource, the items we use everyday and the future we want to build.

The future of waste is in our hands, and it’s brighter than ever. We can’t wait to welcome you into our spaces and reshape the world together, one plastic lid at a time.
